COURSE DURATION: 8 weeks.
COURSE DESCRIPTION AND LEARNING OUTCOMES
Students will be introduced to basic Spanish vocabulary, common phrases, and concepts necessary for interpersonal interaction. Emphasis will be placed on basic communication and comprehension in everyday situations. Students will learn basic knowledge of the basic structure of the target language using the present tense. Students will engage in activities, such as dialogues, and question and answer situations. Students will be introduced to the cultures of Latin America and Spain. Gradually, students will develop their ability to understand basic spoken and written Spanish.
COURSE MATERIALS
Instructor will provide handouts, reading material and/or additional resources.
